Updated: Mar 20

Registration with the NABV:

  • To participate in legal airsoft activities in the Netherlands, you need to become a member of the Dutch Airsoft Association (NABV).

  • Visit the official NABV website and navigate to the section for new members.

  • Follow the instructions for registration and fill out the application form.

  • During the registration process, you'll need to provide personal information such as name, address, date of birth, and contact details.

  • You'll also need to submit a valid form of identification, such as a passport or identity card.

Applying for a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG):

  • A requirement for NABV membership is providing a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).

  • You can apply for a VOG at the municipality where you are registered in the Personal Records Database (BRP).

  • Fill out the application form for the VOG and pay the required fee.

  • After submitting the application, the municipality will process your request and, if everything is in order, issue the VOG.

Payment of Membership Fee:

  • To become a full member of the NABV, you'll need to pay annual membership dues. This amount may vary and depends on the type of membership (e.g., adult, youth, or supporting member).

  • Once all required steps are completed and your membership fee is paid, you'll receive your NABV membership card.

Participation in Airsoft Activities:

  • After obtaining your NABV membership and receiving your membership card, you can participate in legal airsoft activities in the Netherlands.

  • Make sure to always carry your NABV membership card and a valid form of identification when participating in airsoft activities.

These are the key steps you need to follow to become a member of the NABV and apply for a VOG to legally practice airsoft in the Netherlands. Keep in mind that the exact procedures and requirements may vary, so be sure to check the most up-to-date information on the official NABV website and with the municipality where you reside.
